Ialu of the Kheweh.
-------------
Ialu was young man with long black hair and dark gray eyes that seemed to absorb the light around him. He was thin and his skin smooth adorned with various tattoos about his arms and back, and even upon his face. His tent smelled heavily of incense, so thick that one could barely breath upon entering. The air was sweet and spicy. There were numerous lanterns and candles situated about among pillow, draperies, and chests. Bowls and herbs were set about.
-------------
The man is the apprentice of the Kheweh elder, Huyana, studying in the ways of shadow and dream magic. He is one of the most talented and had given up his arranged marriage and the potential for a future family to focus on his skills and knowledge.
Although Ialu is talented, especially with mind magic, he is still young and a bit too ambitious for his good. During his first meeting with Kemek he requested that the paladin bring him two magical gems, called the snake's eyes, in order to boost his magic. The gems were from the temple ruins, considered by the tribe sacrilegious.
Despite his issues with Kemek, and some trouble he had gotten into with the elders, Ialu is a good friend. He has done much to help Tariq since his return to the tribe after Jera enslaved the man. He has even kept Tariq's secrets regarding all that was done to the man. He helps Tariq with nightmares and in regaining his memories.
